The priority of education in Israel

To begin with, educated Israelis have 50% higher income than those without education. That's a big incentive to try to study!

Training system

Schooling for Israeli residents is free and covers ages 5-16. The compulsory state curriculum is 100-point and three-level:

1. elementary school takes a period of six years;
2. intermediate stage - 3 years;

(3) Third-grade school also lasts three years.

Education in the school curriculum can be obtained in different types of schools:

• state (training in a state-approved basic program);
• state religious ones, where in addition to the basic school curriculum religious subjects are necessarily studied; 
• Orthodox religious schools with a system of independent education. Here the name eloquently reveals the essence of education: more attention is given to religious subjects than to basic school subjects.

There are private schools with a bias in certain subjects (for a fee) and mostly for high school there are schools for arts, science, and technology (partly for a fee).

The intricacies of getting an education 

Students from Israel have to pay a tuition fee to attend a university. At the same time, there is a language division, which allows students in Hebrew programs to pay significantly less for their education. If, for example, selected the same specialty in the bachelor's degree, tuition in Hebrew will cost 3 thousand dollars per academic year, and in English - from 6 thousand dollars.

In this case, there is an exception for returnees, which manifests itself in the form of partial compensation of the cost of education by the state (determined by the Ministry of Aliyah and Integration individually). 

As for medical education, there are no opportunities for foreigners, because it is forbidden by the state.

What are the conditions for foreigners with their own education

If a foreign specialist wishes to find employment in Israel, this is possible, but only after a legal confirmation of his diploma, i.e., qualification. This procedure (nostrification) is stipulated by the state, whose authorized body is the Ministry of Education. 

It is convenient that the application and documents can be submitted electronically, following the established procedure. Again, it should be noted that in the field of medicine, it is very difficult to confirm one's diploma. 

The fact that Israel is a leader in the world ranking on the level of education is indicative of the issues of training and qualifications.
